Pather panchali is not just a movie, it is a directoral achievement considering the times in which it was directed which is probably in the late 50s.It was an awesome task to direct movies during that times as you would see a thousand rural people thronging the place where the shootong would take place.Also the movie is great.It shows the life of a boy in his rural place where he live swith his sister and parents.My most interesting scene is when bith of them run to see atrain passing bye the pady fields.Also the way this film is proceeded by its two sequels it keeps the interest and the zeal alive.Pather panchali is written by Bibhutibhusan and directed by the then novice director Satyajit Ray.Anybody who wants to make a carreer in direction should watch this film time and again as this film had won many awards and collected accolades from all over the world.
