I have attended the training given by Yogeshwar Vashishtha and below is my review.
Most of his training is freely available on youtube. No need to spend 37k on it
During training, he will indirectly compel you to join his trading room for the maximum period by giving some discounts. He will also say that if you join during the 4 days of training, you need not pay service tax on the trading room fee.
To join trading room, you need to open a Sharekhan account with pathfinders. Even if you already have a Sharekhan account, you need to transfer it to pathfinders team. The brokerage charges are 0.3% for delivery and 0.03% for intraday and F&O which are quite high. I know people who trade intraday at 0.01% or even less.
The trading log that he maintains is exclusive of brokerage, STT, GST, stamp duty etc. By doing so, he is overstating his profits and understating the losses. For example, if you trade in 1 lot of SBI, your transaction charges would be apprx Rs.640{(250*3000*0.03/100)*2*1.18+109(Other Charges)}. If you take 0.01%, the same would be apprx Rs.286. If you opt for discount/flat brokerages, it will be less than Rs. 180.
Once you complete the training and join the trading room, you will see his true colours. He doesn’t answer to your queries.
Most of the time that you trade with him, you will end up making losses.(Your losses include brokerage and other charges but his losses don’t include). The only days that he makes good profit are the high trending days. Those days, anyone can make profits following the trend.
After joining his trading room, he will ask you to undergo options training which will cost almost 27k. All the time he will try to squeeze money from you.
He will ask you to write positive reviews whenever there are reviews like mine posted on the forums
Don’t go by the videos posed on the testimonials. They are recorded on the last day of training. You will be super excited that day feeling the you have learnt a lot. Even I have given one such testimonial on my last day of training. Try asking people who have completed more than 3 months of training. You will get the real feedback.
I know that there are many of his fans out there who will say this is bullshit but ask yourself, are you getting your money’s worth?
My suggestion, instead of spending money on his training and trading room, learn them freely from youtube. Remember that no trading strategy works all the time.
