One should remember a star cast can never transform a pathetic movie to great one. Totally pathetic strict. Cheesy story lines to drag movie to a length of 2 1/2 hrs. There’s only 30 mins of cricket and 2 hours of cheesy drama. There are so many characters in the movie that you literally forget most of them. The big point here is, most of the characters are useless.
It’s a movie about a spineless aspiring crickter and his family. The family members make him pursue his cricketing dreams for their own goodwill. What? Nobody wants good for Akshay except Anushka( a stalker) and of course his mum.
Director could’ve made a great drama movie but I don’t understand why did he opt to embed comic in a drama film.
Final words: Length, useless characters and pathetic comic is the reason why movie is a complete disaster.
