Patna may sound to someone synonym of death trap, but in reality it is quite a safe and friendly place to travel and also to live. In fact Crime rates in Patna is much lower than that of Delhi. Basically I am a Bihari as my father and my mother’s birth place is somewhere in Bihar, but I myself was born and brougt up in Delhi as my father works in Delhi since 1970.
I regularly used to visit Patna since childhood as my Grandmother(Nani) lives there. Last time I visited patna two weeks ago and quite amazed by its cleanliness and by seeing roads in better conditions. Many big markets opened in patna, and it emerging as a new hip town of north india.
Lack of five-star hotel is a negative point of Patna, but it hosts many good hotels which provide comfortable stay at cheap price. There are many places in and around this city where you can travel and shop. Patna is well connected by other cities of India by trains, roads and by air.
