Last year I took admission in B. Sc 1st year In B.N College PATNA UNIVERSITY. I took admission here after hearing lots of compliments from my Family and Friends and no doubt few years back Patna university was amongst the best universities in Asia.
But Talking about Today Patna university has lost its Charm and its really sad. Lets talk about my college B.N College that comes under Patna university. The teachers of my department are very irresponsible. They reach college around 12 in the afternoon whereas in the class should start at 9 AM. Our HOD wants us to do everything on our own. I doubt they have any interest in teaching. We are not taken for practicals regularly but our teachers want us to submit the practicals on time. Infrastructure is very poor.
There no cleaner or sweeper in for department hence the benches and desks are always full of dust and we have to clean them at the beginning of class. Teachers come when the want and go when they want but they want our attendance to be 75%. Rarely and extracurricular programs take place.
The principal and other members of the administration are ignorant because in spite of getting huge amount of funds from the Government still no development can be seen .
Patna university needs to make some strict rules or else after a few years its seats will be left empty every year and it will lose its remaining charm.
