Patnitop is the heaven of jammu....mind that it is in jammu region of jammu and kashmir and hence it is the most sought after place by the tourists of jammu region....
To describe the beauty of the place ....i think beauty of patnitop cant be put in words but still for those who want to know ....i cant say more than this ’’ u wont regret visiting this place ’’ . it is really amazing. patnitop lies in the district udhampur ( some 40 kms ) which is northern commands head quarters and hence has a lot of military. So I would like to tell the people who have safety concerns that it is the safest worth seeing place in jammu and kashmir at the moment......myself being a resident of udhampur assure u that.....
You can easily get hotels huts there in patnitop.....and there are some gud dhabas and restaurants also ......and wht more ....u can get south indian food also there......so travel lovers nothing to worry about food and accomodation.
Now about places worth seeing there.....there are four beautiful parks there....one for children ....there is one old shive temple and it is not to be missed if you go to that place...
on return joutney You can go to mata vaishno devi shrine which is just 40 kms from udhampur........and u can have a stay at udhampur town whose sweet people will force u to extend ur journey for some days ........such is the charm in those lovely people.....in udhampur u must see dabbad park and devika temples.....they are really gud .
In the end I would like to tell u that it is very easy to get conveince to the place patnitop from udhampur and jammu......no need to worry for that ...
go visit that place.....u will feel in heaven
