Shaheen Patrawala is just fleecing people. Mixing all ingredients and then putting them on the cooking gas - that’s no way to conduct a cooking class. Why should one spend thousands just for this, don’t we have enough of free You tube videos showing the same.
A real cooking class is when you are imparted with knowledge of the ingredients, their properties and usage. That’s when you learn the real cooking.
Even the cookery products they sell are priced at a premium. You can get the same products at a much lesser rate at Crawford Market. And Patrawala will tell you that they have imported it when they themselves have sourced a lot of those products from Crawford Market.
Apart from that, every recipe has a number of mistakes. Patrawala classes don’t even have the courtesy to make the corrections in the soft copy and then give the print out to the participants. So you pay thousands for a recipe full of mistakes. They don’t care about the students, they only care about filling their pockets.
