I would like to share my personal experience when I was affected at the time of Demonetization
When me and my friend having a cup of coffee in a coffee shop arround 7 PM in the evening in the coffee shop one of my friend came in and said PM has announced that Rs 1000 and 500 was banned in India effective today midnight
We are shocked and most of the coffee shops arround my office refused to accept the currency and we were helpless as the ATM’s also closed
Luckily and immediately Paytm has introduced the payment way to pay by scanning QR code which helps us a lot even saved as for paying money for our food expense
Customer care is too good to answer our queries, app is really good

Even a petty shop accepting Paytm cash now
