PayTM review:
I wish to draw attention of all my friends towards most miserable and annoying services these third party apps designed for recharging are providing nowadays:
Initially these apps were successful as a new concept but now various companies are much smarter as they have developed their own apps and do not allow these apps to provide special offers given by them. One can access those offers only through website of that particular company or through their apps. Apps like PayTm have become dysfunctional and useless due to policies adapted by various Telecom giants as mentioned above.
This led these apps to turn into selling merchandise and attracting through lucrative offers like cashback but believe me they do not have any expertise like Flipkart and Snapdeal to execute orders to customer satisfaction. They are good only till all goes well and if an order is executed wrongly it will take no less than 1-1 and half month to resolve and that too after repeated reminders.
A wise man learns from its mistakes but believe me these apps have a bunch of inexperienced lot who neither understand your problem nor are willing to understand it. One of the executive even said in writing " That he feels sorry for the customer who has opted to return the product although wrong product was delivered to him" that means they expect you to keep the inferior product provided to you no matter what your order was. This itself should explain the incompetence their executive show to customers on approaching them.
One of the many gimmicks provided by PayTm is that they offer very high discounts but do not give direct discounts and offer you cashback as PayTM cash which you can use on next purchase and recharge only, For Example if you buy a product worth Rs 100/- with 50% discount then Rs 50 shall be credited into PayTm cash account which you can only use for next purchase and recharge . Unlike Flipkart and Snapdeal they do not provide you with direct discounts, so if they are offering 50% cash back that will amount to 30-35% only because you are compelled to buy other products from them on which they again earn profits.
With reference to their inexperience they do not have any dedicated timeline for delivering your order. Pls expect your order to be delivered as per their wish and not as per your requirement with no time boundation.
My overall experience with PaYTm is pathetic and horrible and my orders are still pending to be executed and agony is at its all time high. They are the ones who are killing and murdering the trust of those who are suspiciously experimenting with e-commerce and online business.
