Its been couple of months, I had been using this website and its Mobile App. Its a hassle free platform where one can recharge ones mobile be it prepaid or postpaid(most the network providers are covered) and also data card and DTH. Here few more companys landline bills, gas bill and other utility bills can also be paid though the option in utility bill pay is limited to two or three cities only.
Paytms throws great cash back offers from time to time on Mobile recharge and DTH recharges through their website or Mobile App. They also now have thousands of products on sale through their market place however I feel the pricing on these products are higher compared to other websites like flipkart and amazon however they throw in cash backs on those purchases to make pricing worth buying.
Once I tried to make purchases on their on-line products from their website however they were not able to offer COD in Kolkata hence I did not go forward with the purchase. They have also partnered with other service providers like Uber, IRCTC and couple more where you can make payment through their paytm wallet.
One major draw back dealing with this website or its Mobile App is there is NO CALL CENTRE number at paytm to speak with any representatives. Yes you are right, they do not have a Toll free or a phone number that you can call and sort out an issue. You can only email them and they would revert back to you which is also a slow process. I had once been a victim of one such incident and it was a terrible experience while dealing through an email and delay in servicing of the issue. Eventually when voiced out on their facebook official page, It was than my issue being resolved. Over all this is a good website which keeps offering good cash back offers on recharges and purchases and try to make bill pay worthwhile. However if you get stuck in any dispute, you would need patience to work out the issue.
