I was lured in to paytm as bsnl website was usually down, and recharge was not possible.Initially , when the amounts were less, recharges were successful.On 7/4/12, I tried to recharge my number with 100 RS, money was debited yet no recharge was received (no msg from bsnl too), yet I promptly got a msg from paytm that your recharge is successful.I tried again with 100 RS and lost it again.When I explained my problem to these crooks they didn’t refund my money and told me to contact BSNL. I called their customer care, went to their office in Kharagpur with the receipts of my payments to paytm and they checked their database and found that no recharge was initiated on 7/4/12 on my number.
I wrote to paytm again and after several mails these crooks reply that money has been refunded to your account.Out of 200, only 100 Rs were refunded and that too as PAYTM CASH! And I find that out of that 100 , only 50 is refundable in my account, rest I have to recharge from paytm.Now they simply mail me that money has been refunded to your account.
My advise to anyone who is reading this post, please stay away from this website.This is an elaborate con to lure you in, and one day they’ll simply withhold your money.NEVER USE PAYTM FOR ANYTHING. NEVER, I insist.
