I have quite a few bad experience with PayTM and very few good ones. But one of their particular strategy is ridiculous. They transfer the money back to Paytm wallet even when they cancel the order or when they fail to deliver it. There is no guarantee that they will ship the product in the first place! The bad experiences has kept me away from them. So I will share my bad experiences
Well, I had been making quite a few transactions on PayTM now a days and to be frank, they have improved a lot. I even upgraded my wallet which was smooth transaction. Refunding back to CC/Bank account is just a breeze and its so fast. Return service is better than Flipkart and Amazon. I had lot of issues with both of them and none so far with PayTM. There have been no problems on cashbacks. Just an email or call to customer service resolved most of the issues in a single day. Their deals are amazing to say the least. I was facing a issue where I was not able to place any order from my account. It was working fine on my friends account. I sent detail screen shots of error messages to customer care and insisted them to send it to back end team. They were able to resolve it in 12 hrs flat. They called, emailed and made sure things were set right. Very few orders get cancelled due to seller and stock availability. Even their wallet service is being accepted on many websites now. I being a biker, was able to purchase my biking gear using the money from cashbacks which is a great thing.
