When it comes to online shopping in India the first word comes to our mind is either Flipkart or Amazon. But if you want the products to be a bit cheaper then go for other online shopping sites.By believing this statement from one of my friend, I decided to go for PayTm as I wanted to buy a SkullCandy earphones which was available relatively for a lower price( by around Rs 200 cheaper - MRP 649) .
I wouldnt have bought those earphones from PayTm if their site didnt mention anything about any warranty for the product. But their site did, quoting an year warranty( Manufacturer warranty) for the earphones. Now who could resist this offer?!, a good product available for a cheap price with warranty( As said by the site) .So just like an ordinary man, I too ordered one.
Not only was it delayed by a week but also the packaging when opened didnt contain any paper regarding warranty.Though its cover and the way it looked seemed to be that it was indeed a SkullCandy but after using it for 2 days( sound quality was not good enough), one of the earplug stopped sounding.
Unforunately only then I could confirm that it was a fake one as it neither had a warranty( eventhough the page mentioned that it had warranty) nor the quality was good( actually was worse!).So from that day onwards I stopped shopping from PayTm and I would suggest you to better go for a reliable e-commerce site where eventhough the price maybe a bit on the higher side, you will get for what you have paid for and will never feel disappointed!
But I should mention that PayTm is a very useful/helpful platform for Mobile/DTH recharging.I would not recommend this for shopping online!
