Paytm doesnt follow its own refund policy

I made a order of Barbie Yellow Ballerinas(Size-33), order no. 1303033080 on 31 oct 2015. The product was delivered on 05-11-2015. After opening the packing, I found that product was not delivered as per the order. instead of bellies, shoes were delivered.


Matter was reported to paytm customer care on 05-11-2015 itself along with pictures of the wrongly delivered product. Return was approved by customer care and the pick was scheduled.


The product was picked up by paytm designated courier(delnet) on 07-11-2015 after verifying the product.


As per Paytm return policy given on their website "Refund will be initiated within 24-48 hours if Paytm designated courier has picked the product from buyer’s address. " my case was the same as Paytm designated courier picked the product after verifying it."


There was another clause that if buyer ship the product back then refund will be made as soon as the product reaches back to the merchant.


concern related to refund was raised through email on 9-11-2015 and I have been asked to provide the’scan copy of the reverse pick up or courier slip’ by paytm customer care. the same has been supplied to customer care on 09-11-2015.


today, 14-07-205, even after 7 days refund is not made by Paytm. Customer care advising that refund will be made when product reaches merchant.


Although product is not shipped back by buyer but only through Paytm designated courier, but customer care failed to understand its own policy or trying to pretend.


Paytm is not abiding by its own policy. Be careful before making any purchase.
