Paytm is one of the fast moving online business in India. They offer good deals with cash backs. They are pretty good at mobile and DTH Recharge. They have announced 100 million users and 30 million applications downloaded from play store. There are lot to say about them.
But one big mistake ruining all the good things. That is customer care.
In Mouthshut, I am really happy to see many people writing positive reviews about Paytm. But if they face any problem everyone would turn against them.
History says any big organization or business destroys only because of small mistakes.
Day by day Paytm sales volume increases but the number of satisfied customer level decreases. Google gives this statistics.
I had couple of bad experiences. Once I tried to pay my Airtel postpaid bill through Paytm. It was on the due date. The amount got deducted from my account but the bill was not paid.(Order no. 1420611690 date 2:48 pm, Dec 24 2015) I tried to contact customer care. I am unable to reach them. Then I sent four emails and got answer on the next day. I again made the payment through my regular mode of payment afraid of disconnecting the service.
Paytm returned my money after few days.
Another day I tried to make payment through Paytm to an online gaming website(My Order No is1431102952, 6:21 pm, Dec 29 2015). That time the payment was successful but I didnt get cash back till. I knocked the Paytm door again. The door is not opened yet.
After these two bitter experience I do not want use Paytm service. I deleted Paytm Application from my mobile phone.
I do not recommend until they correct their mistakes.
