The app as well as website is very good for transferring money or paying a merchant and also for doing mobile recharges. I have never experienced any problem, even if transaction has failed, I get my refund within 1 day. But, paytm.com is useless for shopping via mall. I would never recommend anyone to shop via paytm.com.
Here are my experiences:
I had ordered a Dell laptop worth 45k rupees because I was getting the best deal compared to other online shopping websites but little did I know that I was going to get a damaged and wrong product. As soon as I booted the laptop I checked in the specifications section of the laptop to verify if I had got the right product. And, to my surprise they had sent me a different product that was worth 35k rupees. I immediately returned. This is literally fraud.
Another experience that I would like to share is of SanDisk 32GB Pendrive. I had ordered SanDisk UltraFit pendrive worth 1000 rupees but they sent me a different SanDisk Pendrive that was outdated and just worth 650-700 rupees. Again, a big fraud. So, don’t go for shopping on Paytm as it is not at all reliable.
