I have had many positive and negative experiences with Paytm since many years. But most of the time, I never regret using Paytm.
When it comes to giving offers, no one can beat Paytm, ever in India! I don’t understand how they can give such offers all over the year!
The only bad experience that I have faced with Paytm was when I booked a bus ticket from Hyderabad to Visakhapatnam 2 years back. Paytm launched the Bus ticketing service just then and I booked a bus from them.
After payment was done, I got a message showing my bus details. But that was the most irritating bus booking experience I ever had.
I booked a bus from Hyd to VSP. They must send Bus number, Driver number, depart time, depart stop address, depart time, contact number. But what I got was just Bus depart time and Area name. That’s it!
How did they think that I could catch the bus in an unknown city without any proper details?
I faced so much problem finding the bus stop and catching bus.
That was the only bad experience that I ever had with Paytm.
And coming to positive experiences. During demonetization, they saved my life! Thanks man! And recently, I bought a Riding jacket from Paytm worth 8000 INR for 6500 INR. It was not during any sale season. Just a normal day like today. And no need to tell about wallet offers like cash backs! That is the reason why I prefer Paytm over other sites.
But it does lack better customer service and number of products!
