Today I forgot my wallet with cash, credit/debit card everything in wallet and I was more than 6kms away from home to the super market. I thought, since I have some money in Paytm wallet, I can purchase some with my Paytm wallet instead of going back.
I asked receptionist whether they accept Paytm for money transfer. She said "yes", then I went ahead with purchase. After 20 mins I was in the billing counter and the bill was around 800 rs, I scanned the shop QR choose with my mobile app, suddenly it logged me out without a reason.
In such panic I forgot my password as well, I couldn’t recall it either, I guessed few times, it said it’ll lock in next attempt. I clicked forgot password and it mentioned call a number, the line never reached over 15 attempts.
I made a final guess and it said locked for 1 hr.
I was so embarrassed that I didn’t even have any choice to make, since my card is in my wallet as well as cash. I need my card grid number for net banking, I couldn’t remember my credit card number either.
Then I apologized to the employee and left without buying any and wasting my 20 mins of shopping time and another 15 mins of struggling with Paytm app and wallet.
I would never forget this and never trusting paytm again. Their support is worst. Hope you find this useful.
