Paytm launched its company as a mobile and dth recharge app on the app market. After a succesful profit it launched its own online shopping business naming paytmmall. Publicity was done in full volume to ensure that paytm offers huge cashback and huge discount on each of the product people buy. But there comes the biggest lie with their brand. Each of the deal of show called cashback offer it has something under the hood. For example any product described as having a 20 percent discount may seem like a good deal for every one. If the product price is 15000Rs. then diacount must be 3000Rs. Here comes the biggest lie. The condition marked under the offer says maximum diacount that can be achieved is 1000. So it is not a 20 percent at all.
Another important misleading concept provided by them are making the price of the product less but keeping the shipping cost high. For example if a product costs 70Rs. and the shipping coat becomes 200Rs. then the total cost becomes 200Rs which is preety muxh high.
So by making a gimmik they want us to buy those things in so called very less value but eventually making us to pay more.
