The Treacherous events of December 7, 1941 form the backdrop of this triangular romance.Rafe(Ben Affleck) and Danny(Josh Hartnett) are childhood buddies, who are now fighter pilots for U.S Army. Americas decision to stay away from World War II give them spare time to enjoy peace.Rafe falls in love with Evelyn(Kate Beckinsale).After declaring his love he leaves for Briton to volunteer the Eagle Squadron.While fighting the war Rafe is declared dead and Danny brings home the bad news.Eventually Rafe and Evelyn fall in love and Evelyn becomes pregnant.Rafe suddenly arises from death and puts brake on Danny and Evelyn’s love.Evelyn decides to give her heart to Danny and sweet memories to Dave. Just after that Japan attack Pearl Harbour and Rafe and Danny are involved in fighting while Evelyn in nursing the wounded soldiers.The script which is supposed to be a back-bone of the film is also weak in parts.Over and above a film to watch with.
