When my husband wanted to go see Pearl Harbor, I thought great another war movie. I am not to keen on war movies and tend to get bored and fall asleep quickly watching them. It didn’t help that I knew this movie was going to be over three hours long.
I went to the movie theater and watched the movie with him. I was surprised to find out that it just wasn’t about a war, but was mostly focused around a love story that would have a bizarre twist. (Watch the movie and you will figure out what I am talking about).
I enjoyed the movie (in fact more than my husband did). When some of my girlfriends ask why I went and saw a war movie and they are not interested in seeing it, I tell them that it was more a movie for us women, it wasn’t all blood and shooting, it was about a romance.
The actors that played in this movie, including Ben Affleck, Kate Beckinsale and Josh Harnett were involved in the love triangle that will keep us ladies interested in watching the movie.
Like Titantic, this is a movie more for women than men. Sorry guys, if you are looking for blood and shooting, you will only receive about a half an hour of it and then it is right back to the love story. Stick to movies like, Saving Private Ryan and Good Morning Vietnam Guys, this one is for us ladies!
