Peb fort is favorite destination for one day trekkers as its close to matheran & neral, attracting large number of youth.
We started our journey early in the morning and we reach to base village by 7am. the group of 20 trekkers we started ascending by completing our breakfast. we went in the month of august so its proper rainy days where you can expect greenery everywhere.
Rain arrived when we just started to ascending and that feeling was awesome as we are enjoying every bit of it because we are walking in the rain, in the midst of jungle, while walking we can see our footprint in ground and specially the refreshing fragrance its just boosted us to go much faster.
there are some points in peb fort are quite tricky where you need to be careful as there are chances specially in rainy season if you are not wearing proper trekking shoes then you need to more cautions when you are steeping on stones and at one point you need to climb a ladder which is near about 9 foot long.
when we reach on top the view was absolutely stunning as climate is windy and fogyish as everyone was clicking photos as our background was completely white as we can feel the fogg and believe me that feeling was awesome. Its like you are on some other planet on which you can just feel the magic of nature and you can reinvent yourself.
so after spending good amount of time we start descending, if you are professional trekker then you know descending is more difficult than ascending but when you are with a group of 20 enthusiast you dont feel any pressure, every step, every moment was special when you got good company.
after completing trek the hangover was still there for week, that feeling, that magic was still there, so I must say guys must go on this trek in this rainy season if you want to enjoy thrill, adventure, and peace.
Thank You!
