One Word - Disappointment

So, I risked ordering from Pepperfry instead of bad reviews. May be I was thinking that everybody deserves a second changes. And frankly the website and discounts are just too tempting to resist.


Here is what happened to me:-




  1. Ordered Prestige Barbeque(Order No 100327050) as Diwali gift for my husband.




  2. The website said that product is available(infact still says the same).




  3. After patiently waiting for 8 working days(most websites ship products in 2-3 days), I got sms/email saying that shipment is delayed for another 3 days. I called them and they told me that they are still waiting for the product from manufacturer.




  4. After 3 days when I logged into website, my order says cancelled. I did not get any email/sms for it. Really, is this the way you do business. So many things incorrect here, false availability, improper notifications, delays. Please have some business ethics and don’t take your customers for a ride.






Now its close to Diwali and I do not have a gift, anyways each experience is a lesson learned. I sincerely hope that I will get my refund easily without constant following up.


Disappointed.
