I have brought a king size bed from pepperfry.com during Diwali and once I received the order. The order was received by me after 15 days exact The order guy said that it will be assembled by some other guy. Now 2 days have gone the carpenter has came. Once he open the box the bed was of another colour and I was shocked to see it. 17 days passed.
I called pepperfry and complained for that. Now the worst experience has just started. They have taken my request after 2 days(19 days passed). My birthday ruined as the carpenter has kept the wooden blocks open in my house in which I don’t have place to walk also due to the same. I will say true to my heart I have called them 30 times(that’s too STD) which costs me 250rs and 12 times chat but no one has helped me in raising the complained.
I have gone to pepperfry showroom also near to my home to file a complain but they said they also have got the same number and chat for that. Now the best part of pepperfry is you can’t do anything all the things which you can do is to wait for their call because we can’t neither talk to concerned person or the seller or the manager as there is only one number "customer care".
One guy called me after 2 days and said that we can offer you two choices either we return your money or you take 30%off. Me and my wife decided to opt for the same bed as again they would take that bed and we have to buy a new one from outside shops.(21 days of nightmare)
Carpenter came on 2nd day of request so now we are on 20th day and carpenter has came. Once the bed was assembled. It was short in height and the inside boxes were of different colour as that of outside colour. Very good pepperfry fooling customer to the core. The only one thing they can do is to lure customer with amazing images on their website.
Now the one of the best part again has came. After 2 months one of the plank inside of the bed got broken. I chat with them. They said to mail them the photos of the broken piece. I mailed them and after 2 days one call came that I have to call to the seller for that even if I have 6 months warranty. I raised the complain to customer care and they said that it is already mentioned on the website that after 1 month of purchase seller will give you the service. Now pepperfry tell me how you got seller telephone number, previously you were not having any number,
"Pepper ko fry karke aankho me daal lo saalo, tumhare p to case hona chahiye".
I have taken a oath never to buy from pepperfry.com.
