Okay, I’m not posting here to get noticed by pepperfry.com and resolve my complaint immediately or that I have personal grudge on them, but for the only reason that no one should ever face a problem by shopping with them like I did. In fact, before buying, I read some reviews of this site, which were of course negative, but I went ahead to shop with them and now I realize that I should trust the reviews.
Service & Support: Pathetic is the word.
They don’t ship the item by themselves, unless you call them twice and ask them to hurry up.
They don’t ship the right product.
You have to call them twice again to know what to do next.
They simply ask you to send back the product and ship it all by yourselves as they don’t have reverse pick-up service. (It again has a lot of procedure. You have to request a declaration form from them, which again takes 2 days as they won’t work on weekends, and you should get it printed, attach it to the product)
Then you think they will replace it. But, then they will reveal this amazing fact that it can’t be replaced as it’s not in their policy to replace the item, they want it be returned.
So, they promise you to refund your money through some gift coupon which is the amount for which you have purchased the item. See, here you use some discount coupon to get it down to that price, and that is the amount they’re going refund, which is again a loss of almost 50% of your money.
You wait for the gift coupon to come to you. You order one more item and the same process repeats.
Information depth:
They don’t even have a decent quality camera with them to put images that at least shows the right color of the product.
They don’t mention the specifications of that particular product. They don’t have measurement specifications for them. They just describe how great the brand is, where is it originated, their founder and such unnecessary junk.
You will have no clue of what material it is made of.
Trust me, I had to go to some other site, search for the same name and know its details, then come back to this for the only reason that it is of lower price. Now, you must have understood why they give it for such a low price.
Content Timeliness:
I think I have covered this in the first thing.
Design/Usability:
They don’t have proper software to sort the product according to the latest item, discount etc.
Website Load Time:
We have a 1 GBPS connection in our college and it still struggles to load the page. Wonder who designed the site without the common sense that large-size/high-quality images takes time and takes more CPU usage to load. I love Myntra in that case.
So, I suggest you to not buy anything from them. If you would like to go ahead, like I did, you will end up writing review just like I did now.
