I am from Hyderabad and my Pepperfry experience was a nightmare. Damaged products delivered - Order was of INR. 41, 000/- When I called the customer service team, the team was reluctant to take back the product, Customer service sucks big time, they will shamelessly tell you that they will repair the damaged product and give you the same product for the same price. If a customer has to buy refurbished product, they can buy from OLX, why would they pay the inflated price at Pepperfry? Customer service representatives are rude, unhelpful and also lie so please RECORD ALL YOUR CALLS WITH THEM without fail or else they will tell you all lies. Also, their ticketing system is very opaque, you will get a ticket number in an email after you speak to them, but they will never mention the exact issue that you have faced in that Ticket. When you challenge them for it, they say it is an internal policy that such details are not to be shared with the customers. Now think, what kind of a person will not like to document the details of a customer issue? Let me answer, the kind of person who does not want to leave any proof of the customers complaint and have deniability in case something goes massively wrong. The product finish is not good at all in addition to the damages. They very smartly use fillers to cover up cracks in the wood. The chair which I received had balancing issues. After many heated calls, they have finally agreed to process refunds. Will uninstall this application from my mobile the day I receive the refunds. Horrible experience.
