SHAM WEBSITE - Sent the wrong product- STAY AWAY !

  1. This website specializes only in putting glossy pictures and making tall claims.  The experience has been absolutely horrible. But I managed to get a refund before sending the product back.

  2. I had ordered two mango wood products in 1st/2nd week of June. Product 1- Shelves( rs. 1100/-) product 2- Temple(rs. 3300 - post discount originally above 4000) Paid online no COD. Delivery time - one week and one month respectively.

  3. Received the shelves first- Damaged and looked to be made from a used table top. No pick up provided, even though home delivery was done. Spent 300 bucks on courier and then waited for refund.

  4. After this experience, asked for cancellation on mandir but was assured via email quality check would be done. The shipping date passed and on enquiry " delay due to quality check" is given as the reason- by the lady "handling my order".

  5. When I received it finally, to my utter shock and surprise - WRONG TEMPLE - HALF THE VALUE I PAID.

  6. In 2nd week of july, am told send the wrong product first, then refund or replacement. I asked for replacement first and then a pick up for the wrong product.  A new date in 2nd week of August is given.

  7. One month - no confirmation- no contact from the site. After the shipping date passed, I called and was told I didn’t confirm whether I wanted a refund or replacement. I had a copy of the email sent.

  8. So a new story comes up- strike/rains in Jodhpur, backlog in orders.

  9. FINALLY, *i received the product in SEPTEMBER- booked in JUNE - and they again send a damaged product with opposite color combination and smaller in size too!

Now, the most useless argument of my life with  Customer care- furniture dept order handler- manager all sing the same song- company policy- send the products and then refund. I simply refused and kept arguing for 3 days. Then they relented and AGREED for REFUND FIRST AND THEN PICK UP.


Refund was to be done in eight days but no money transferred, however the pick up guy was right on time to take the products. Sent him back and eventually after 10 days or actually after 3 months since June-  I got my money back.


The two products are still with me - waiting for the courier guy to take them!


MORAL- DO NOT ORDER and if you do get a faulty product - ASK FOR REFUND FIRST!
