This is regarding my order(300797829) for Athena Queen Size bed on 26th Jan in Republic day promotion by Pepperfry(PF). My order was accepted at Rs. 31, 999/- as the promotion offered a 7000 Rs discount over the MRP of 38999/-. The relevance of promotion was totally lost since after after closure of Republic day sale, the item was available for Rs 29, 499. The prices and promotions at pepperfry are just a means to hook the unsuspecting buyers and there is no genuineness to the promotions offered.
This was brought to Pepperfry team notice and after umpteen reminders team accepted mistake and agreed for refunding the difference in price. But this was just the begining of numerous false commitments and unprofessional behaviour by the PF team. The order delivery was committed for 13th Feb 2015 and till 27th Feb there was no sight of order and neither was any intimation of the delay. Fed up with this delay, I cancelled the order on 27th Feb and same was acknowledged through email by PF to me on 28th Feb. The refund was to be initiated and now 10 days after the email, the PF team is yet to process the refund! Already wasted multiple emails and phone calls and still the situation is unresolved.
Their internal processes are inadequate and the customer service is all lip service. The company has little interest in offering professional customer service and I am highly disappointing experience for this order.
If someone from PF team is listening, I wish that they really improve to built a sustainable business reputation.
