I have ordered one item worth Rs 399 along with another item which made the bill Rs 1500 and thus the shipping was not charged. however after 3-4 days I get to know that this item is not available with them and they are going to refund this in terms of Pepperpoints. They credited me 399 + 59 = 458 pepper points which is only valid for 15 days.
Fraud #1 - I have paid cash for a item which they could not deliver because of their problem and they returned me pepper points which is only valid for 15 days. They forcing me to buy things within 15 days. You can call them and request to return the money which will take another week but that option is only if you call them.
Fraud #2 - I thought that the amount is less, let me try to buy something so that I can utilize the points. I got similar item for the same price ie. - Rs 399 but according to the policy I could only utilize 384 pepper points and I have to pay Rs 74 extra.
a) They had credit me 59 extra points for shipping but I cant redeem this in the order.
b) I have to pay minimum Rs 15 more to create an order.
You had cancelled my order because of the problem at your end and I am trying to buy the same thing, I have to give Rs 74 extra. This is not acceptable as it wants people to buy more.
The call centre executive and manager are in self denial mode where the person told me that only people who are unhappy complains and thus this feedback is not that valuable. I had three instances of items that could not be delivered by Pepperfry in the last 15 days. I had asked for refund of cash in all three cases. Hope I get my money back. I had previously ordered for some stuff and didnt face problems but for last few weeks I am seeing there service going really down.
This is not ethical that my cash paid is converted to pepper points and then validaity is only 15 days.Hope their management is even reading this or listening to the feedbacks.
