Avoid pepperfry

Had a bad experience with pepperfry. I had ordered a xbox bundle pack from their site on 5th August.


Good part is that I got it within 6 days. But when I checked the package, 1 item(Game DVD) was missing from the package.


In the product description they have clearly mentioned that bundle pack contains 2 game dvds. But I got only one. So, I called up customer care and explained him the situation. He agreed and said the remaining DVD would be shipped in next 48 hrs. After 2 days I didnt get any response or confirmation about the DVD shipment. So I called them up again. This time he tried to explain how and why the DVD is missing from the package. And again said that it would be resolved in next 48 hrs.


Again, I didnt get any response from them. so I again called them up and this time the lady said this DVD wouldnt be shipped as this is a downloadable content and I should download it from the Internet. I kept on telling her that when the product description and invoice clearly states that package contains 2 game DVDs then there should be two physical DVDs. And if 1 is not there, then they should ship one.


But she keep on insisting that I wont get the DVD as I have to download it.


Then I told her that I would be complaining this to Consumer forum. Then, she said her supervisor would call me in the evening. I didn’t get any call yet. Now I think I should go to the consumer forum.


P.S. Even now there site shows that bundle pack comes with 2 DVDs.
