This is the review of dishonest service offered by Pepperfry:-
I ordered Prestige PPTSKS Popup Toaster Order No. 300230565 from Pepperfry on 6th January. After a couple of days when I checked my order it showed that the shipment is confirmed for this order.
I received a mail on 13th Jan stating that my order has been cancelled due to the item being’Out Of Stock.’
It took them a week to decide that the item is out of Stock. I was more shocked to see the same item on their website but at an increased price the next day.
Thinking it as a one off incident I again ordered Khaitan KIR101 Immersion Rod 1000WT Order No:- 300242075 on 18th Jan. However the same chain of events happened and finally I got a mail stating that my order has been cancelled due to it being out of stock.
This surely is not a genuine excuse. Also I find the same item on their website in a couple of days. First they confirm shipment and then they conveniently cancel their orders. It takes them a week to decide that the item is out of stock. Their customer service is also horrible. If you ask them to register a complaint they keep you on wait and after sometime disconnect the chat. This is a trend which I see in all the orders on which I have got a good deal.
An advice to Pepperfry: A little transparency in your responses would help.
