I ordered a product online from pepperfry.com. They gave me a deadline of 18 working days to ship the order.which is around 25 days. But they failed to ship my furniture in time. So I wanted a cancellation. They said they cant cancel the furniture order and I should wait 5 more days for them to investigate the reason to why it is not yet shipped.
It is a very bad customer service. As it is their fault the order should be cancelled and my money to be refunded as soon as possible. Why are they not accepting my cancellation? Why should I pay for their fault ? Customer care behaves as like the contract is only from one end. That is from the customer.
All the rules are applicable for the customer but not to the seller. They deduct the money immediately after ordering. But they wont ship the product within deadlines.
