I have had two terrible experiences with pepper fry.com. I wish business providers would understand that you don’t just need a good looking website and a range of products to be successful - you need to provide good back up service and have international standard policies also. I first bought a writing table from them. It cost 12000 INR so it wasn’t cheap.
They were not clear about the dimensions online, so when it arrived it was not what I expected. When I rang them up, they gave the a runaround for aa few days then said they could not return/exchange anything. Now I have had the table for a few months, the weather has become humid and all the drawers are sticking because the wood is not treated so it has expanded.
Then a friend gave me a product they bought on pepper fry. Unfortunately I already own the item, so without taking it out of it’s packing or anything, I rang pepperfry to request an exchange be, only to be told that they have a no- return policy! All internet shopping sites have a return/exchange policy. Except pepperfry. Don’t ever buy from them. If there is every any back up service you need, you are not going to get it. Full stop. Terrible company. Terrible policies. Can’t see how they will survive.
