Order a 7 feet kitchen cabinet Five Door Kitchen Cabinet with Three Drawers in Wenge and Oak Finish by Mintwud.

0> It said self assembly and delivery person also re-iterated its self assembly which you can
assemble on your own. Tried assembling but it was a mamooth task in first place for assembling three part 7 feet cabinet and on top of it bunch of instructions were incorrect.
After 2 hours, realization came that believe the common sense than the instruction paper which somebody created while sleeping.
1> Quality of the parts as well as the way they were getting hooked to each other was like pack of cards; a pile of boards which could fall without notice.
3> there is no back support to this cabinet, its less than 2 cm sheet covering its back
4> Base of racks is made of less than 2 cm thin sheet which can hold only few empty boxes and then thinking about it, it was suppose to be for kitchen.
5> Starting at 4 p.m. to 1:00 a.m. I was nerve wrecked to see what a discounted Rs. 16, 000
product looks like and thus at that point I was live example of agony defined.
One good thing came from self assembly that it gave me deeper sense on how busted this product is in terms of fitting or quality of parts; first hand experience, came out with burnt hands.
Now on Pepperfry: Pepperfry doesn’t let buyer put comment on their product; that is the part which Pepperfry is responsible for and that amounts to hiding information as I am pretty sure previous buyer of this product must have gone through this horrible experience and Pepperfry is letting other customers also to go through the bad experience; they should black list such brand instead of promoting.
The product was picked in semi-assembled state and refund was done promptly. So they partially restored my trust in pepperfry.
One thing which came out of pepperfry experience is that they compensate the bad vendors with the excellent customer experience and straight forward policy of refund which I haven’t seen with other online sites where folks hold on to purchase amount thinking it as last purchase for them.
I hope pepperfry will make improvements to their quality checks and banning vendors with bad products.
