This is my 3rd Edit after doing 4 orders
I placed 4 Orders
1 Order Never delivered, Neither processed refund.
2 Orders, Shipped totally wrong, cheap item looking entirely different items from what is listed for sale
1 Order, Not yet shipped, Still trying to test my patience by not cancelling the order and refunding.
After avoiding shopping from pepperfry for ages, I finally gave up and decided to place an order on 10th May, with Expected delivery on 19th May as per their order confirmation mail.
been following up with them since 19th evening, over 4 long calls to their customer care in 4 days, and accepting 3 rescheduled delivery dates without complaining, I have decided to cancel the order and raise refund on 23rd afternoon, as still they cant commit when they will deliver.
The product which is shipped from Mumbai on 11th May is still yet to reach me in Bangalore. They have no clue over where the shipment is, neither have any control over the logistics partner(Safexpress). The vendor tracking site shows product being in bangalore since 19th
My wife had placed two more orders, One is still sitting "processing", past ship date.
the other one, got delivered, but got a totally different looking product from what is displayed on the ordering page.
From my experience
Too much time to ship/Deliver the product compared to other online portals.
Ships Cheap, totally different item from what is listed.
Totally arrogant attitude towards refund.
They do not respect the shipping / delivery time committed on the order confirmation mail
They have no control over / clue about the exact location of product being shipped to you.
No communication to customer on delay in delivery/shipping
Their customer care executives are kind enough, but doesn’t help the situation as they have no control over the situation in terms of delivery delay, tracking, escalation or to expedite a already delayed delivery.
Never ever, Order from pepperfry. All the+ve reviews I See are fake I think as most of my friends who orders from pepperfry ended up with same terrible experience.
