I wouldn’t recommend anyone buying from PepperFry.com. Last month I ordered one Sanjeev Kapoor tandoor from the site’s home and kitchen section however the item is yet to arrive. While ordering in the site it was clearly mentioned the item could be delivered to my address tentatively by 27th February 2013 however now all they are doing is taking extraaa time for resolution every 48 hours one email asking for 48 hours more.
They won’t refund for delivery delay amounting to failure. Serious problem with site’s basic logistics. Since this site’s credibility has become a big question in order to appease buyers they are offering petty discount on select products. Its advisable to not follow the discount trap unless you want to experience 80’s government civic department attitude.
*Gist : Pepperfry website can give an impression of a new age e commerce company but their s**king 80’s government department type attitude is a real deal breaker. Pepperfry can safely considered a company which is actually a desi unicycle in the getup of a Mercedes Benz. Pepperfry manifesto should read like "you the esteemed shopper take full responsibility of any no delivery .. delay .. or damages whatsoever happens to your items"*
