I was planning to place an order for two wardrobes from Pepperfry as the price was nice. But after reading all the reviews I thought of placing an order of a smaller amount to see how the service is. So I dotted for an entertainment table costing 2k change and made the payment through Credit Card.
Now I feel its one of my mistakes that I have done. Before placing the order I called their support team once to cross check about the delivery dates and they promised that it will be delivered by 24th and the consignment will be shipped by 15th. Today is 17th and till now it shows that the consignment will be shipped by 15th. Now I am surprised that how 15th comes after 17th:). I called their support team and asked about it. The first response that I got is their computer is slow and thats the reason behind this(Bullst). Second time they said that they are going to procure from some other place and it will be shipped from Bombay(Again Bullst).
Third time today when I called I directly requested for escalation beacause last time they promised for a manager call back that I never received. The escalation team guy Zubair, he was just aligning with me as part of their BPO ethics which actually sounds completely fake. He was not even interested to know about the issue. The surprising part is still it shows that it will be shipped by 15th. They just know apologizing. Now I am really thinking that due to God’s grace I did not place the order for my furnitures of new flat which would cost close 2 and half lak. This experience is not confidence gaining. I hope the product will get delivered in near future.
From my side, I would suggest everyone to think twice while ordering with Pepperfry, or else be prepared to talk to them daily for half an hour and listen to some unacceptable reasons(like computer slow thats why website not updated).
Hereby I am attaching a screenshot of the order tracking page showing "Will be shipped by 15th".
Once I receive the product will post an update about the complete experience but till now its not impressive at all.
