Dear online shoppers plz make time and read this review before shopping with pepperfry.com. As all I have got attracted to their offer and have ordered the product for the first time on this site. When faced problems I searched the reviews regarding pepperfry.com. After reading many cons review than pros about pepperfry.com now I realize that one have to read the reviews before shopping online and more n more people should write comments frankly and straightly on this kind of web sites. Even I experienced the same problem with this site. Think they are not trust worthy.
I am been a online shopper since a couple of years n have transactions with homeshop18, yebhi.com, lenskart.com which provided really very good service and the very first transaction with pepperfry.com have harassed me. Am really fed up with them. What have read review against them is true. They cancel the order by themselves, say the product is OUT OF STOCK even after successful confirmation of the order, but in other site its not possible to place order for the out of stock items. Then after a couple of days they gives an additional refund in the form of pepperfry points which is very useless and also there will be a condition to make purchase using these points with in 15 days. How funny.. time limit for our own money . Other condition is u have to pay other 15 rupees min to use these points that too on online mode. More over there is no option on the website for customer reviews.
Now I may loose some hundreds but what I am writing this is to bring awareness among other people. The only suggestion for the new to deal with pepperfry.com is better opt for CASH ON DELIVERY, check the product in front of the deliver person and just send back if you don like it. But I know you cant do this coz u will get the same item in better rates at other websites. Here are some websites with which I have a satisfied transaction : hs18, lenskart.com, yebhi.com, flipkart, snapdeal. This is what I thought and the rest is left to the readers personal decision. Have a happy and worthy shopping. Please write reviews on your experience for the benefit of innocent consumers. Personally I NEITHER TRANSACT WITH THEM NOR RECOMMEND THIS SITE TO ANY OF MY FRIENDS.
