Des ke rang mein rang ja thats the tagline for Pepsi Blue . Thats fine with me . But since when did the colour of our nation become blue. I always thought twas green , white and saffron. But how can you argue with the marketing executives of as big a MNC as Pepsico...if they say blue , well blue it is. Its keeping in sync with the Indian cricket teams uniform they say...well ok then .
How does it taste ? Hmm.....lemme see.... lesser fizz and sweeter taste . Basically it tastes like those old fashioned sharbats .
Pepsico , seems to be claiming that their managers have foreseen a drop in the sale of cola drinks because consumers would gradually get bored by the same colour .And that is why Pepsi Blue has been launched.Fair enough . Who cares as long as they cost the same . Maybe we will get used to the new drink on the block . After all it looks pretty cool (just dont think about kerosene while youre at it ) and tastes pretty close to the original version .
I think even other products should take a clue and start changing colours. wouldnt it be nice to have green milk , saffron cheese , and white ketchups.
All Ive gotta say is if you already liked the bachhon ka drink aspect of pepsi , there is a good chance you would like the blue avatar as well .If not , well you couldnt care less .
And as it is our men in blue in South Africa can use some mental peace . So lets all go and consume loads of Blue Pepsi cola as that would definitely give them some mental peace in a pecuniary sort of way.
