Sure, it had to be because it was very difficult for me to gather my thoughts right after watching this pathetic excuse of a film. I was intrigued initially because of Halle Berry, add Bruce Willis and the glam sham world of ADVERTISING!! I had honestly thought it would really be a humdinger. But it turned out to be a hammed with unnecessary intrigue, stupid mystery and moreover a Bruce Willis who cant save his face as an Advertising honcho!!

Now with the frustration put aside, let me tell you why this film did not ring the cash registers for the Producers (totally 7 including Associates and Co and Executive!! :O) and director James Foley.

*CAST

Halle Berry               Rowena Price

Bruce Willis              Harrison Hill

Rest dont really matter as their roles are miniscule and have significantly no significance!!

STORY

Rowena Price is a journalist with NEW YORK Post and is seething and seeking to do justice to her friends Grace’s murder! Is that a typical American woman or what? And the suspected man behind it is none other than THE ad head honcho Harrison Hill who is known to be married to a Rich Bch of new York and has a slender yet dangerous hand lightly strangling Hill. But the hand not-with-standing, Hill is still the most sought after HOT honcho with a smirk and arrogance that women cannot resist!! Crass!

Now, you are taken through a melee of drama that has its merits and demerits (mostly), as your roller coaster ride begins. Only here I was wondering whether I would be able to connect the destinations correctly. meaning the beginning and the end!! Well, your guess is a million dollars, worth.... NO!! I did know where I got in, but sadly didnt know where I got off and WHY??

Jumbling isnt it? You see the cast of Halle Berry and Bruce Willis compels you to at least try the COCKTAIL!! but does it give your taste buds the thrill of gulping it or sipping it?? Thats the question!

After a lot of plot blot and a superb hodge podge, you are confronted with Halle in Bruce’s office as temp and chatting away to HILL all in her quest to pin the murderer. Add to this her sleuth nature which lands her into trouble while rummaging Hill’s desktop and getting out by saying that "there are 17 restaurants that serve the cocktail and that was what she had been wanting to PLANT on his comp!".. Wow, you would believe that people can eat and digesta lotta s**t, see this film immediately. Her friend Miles, her fellow colleague from New York Post has a thing going for Halle and also is helping her pin Hill to hell and high.

My fellow MSians, have you understood anything so far?? if not welcome to the club of PERFECT STRANGERS that we all are here with each other!!

All in all, it was a bad decision gone completely WORST!! At the end of it, I was merely left thinking that if strangers were supposed to be people who do not know each other, then why add an adjective to it called PERFECT and make a hash of being strangers?? If anuybody can answer this question please do so at my wrath!! remember my id is BEHAVEURSELF!! :))

Halle is absolutely gorgeous and completely overacting. Her balancing the act of dealing with Hill and his atrocities to her child sexual abuse are not done convincingly at all. After her power packed performance which got her the coveted statue, this is an absolute DISASTER!!

Bruce can make no truce with his fans for selecting this act and going through it with a smirk et al and landing flat on his tush!

Here is an absolute NO BRAINER with a heady mix of cocktail actors, with a good seduction trick of Victoria’s Secret thrown in and then the string actually STRANGLES you and leaves the strangers perfectly alone!!

Bad film, bad decision to watch it too!!!

The reason to write CURVES and TWISTS in the cons is because the curves will lure you and twists will make you wonder whether you can tango with this unpalatable story or not!! It will leave you in KNOTS!
