I have been using this water filter for over two years. This filter does not need any maintenance to be done except flushing the impure water that collects (Outside membrane) for about 2 minutes daily. It has a filtered water storage chamber of about 4 litres cap with a drain valve. All it needs is some positive pressure head (about 4-5 m) from an over head tank. It has 3 stage water purification system.The first stage filter removes all suspended matter.
In the second stage a silver impregnated Activated Carbon removes odour, chlorine and off taste. In the third stage, an Ultra Filtration Membrane module removes all colloidal matter, bacteria, viruses, pyrogens and disease causing micro organisms. So you will not drink either dead or alive ones!
It has quite an attractive casing and installation is simple. The service technician can fix it in an hour.
I happened to know about this product from a relative who has been using it for over 10 years with hardly any maintenance or replacement. and has no complaints. That sums up everything.
I really do not know why this product is not advertised much.
