I study in Nationals College, Bandra West. Last week on my birthday, I took all my friends to Persian Darbar which is just down the road, for a treat. It was my first time at Persian Darbar and I took my friends there on my brother’s recommendation, who vouched that the food here is awesome and very reasonable.
The decor of this place was slightly disappointing. It seemed like, it was once a nice place but due to lack of maintenance, it looked a bit run down. Anyway the staff was super friendly and gracious and the menu looked good too, so no one complained. We called for the Chicken Biryani, Pomfret Kespa, Chicken Masala and Brain Masala along with some Naan.
The Chicken Biryani was simply awesome. I didn’t quite like the Pomfret Kespa but the other two dishes were really good. The best part was that the bill was unexpectedly low. I was so ecstatic, I promised my friends, I would bring them again to Persian Darbar, if I topped my class. Simply loved this place!
