Perth on the West coast of Australia is a place of great beauty and wonder which often goes overlooked by many tourists.
Perth is a great place to stay, and if your backpacking will want to check into the Globe Backpackers which is conveniently located in the heart of the city on lovely Wellington Street. There you will find accommodation in this welcoming hostel for just $80 a week, free breakfast, and clean facilities, along with a helpful and resourceful staff.
Internet is just $2/hour which is a bargain at any place.
Free parking, free luggage storage, free rice, free coffee and tea, free videos and DVDs along with free linen.
24 in-house licensed bar, and receptionists to check you in! VIP members will receive a discount, along with YHA, and ISC members also. There telephone number is 9321 4080.
There is the Art Gallery of WA (Western Australia), Swan River, Swan Bells Kings Park, and the Sunset Coast. From world-class cricket at the West Australian Cricket Association grounds to the West Coast Eagles and Fremantle Dockers of the Australian Football League, sport in Perth is another must see, and of course The Zoo which should go without mention!
Perth is also a great point for seeing the rest of Western Australia, as Freemantle and, Rottnest Island are easily accessible from here. Along with other travel packages to Monkey Mia, Exmouth, and Esperance!
The weather is moderately warm even during the winter months with temperatures remaining in the mid 20s. I would recommend Perth to backpackers on a budget as the hostels are cheaper here than on the East Coast. I also recommend Perth for Seniors looking for a relaxing vacation away from the kids, and grand kids!
