Petrol and diesel both being petroleum products, are used
to run the cars.when we think of petrol vs diesel car we should not only consider about the facilities we get in a car when we use these fuels but also the efficiency of the fuels.
First thing that strikes when we take this topic is that
petrol is COSTLY.But we don’t think about the efficiency of the petrol.It has higher efficiency than diesel.but petrol cars are easy to maintain and noise is less in petrol engines.But diesel is low of cost.this low of cost makes the diesel to be used in heavy transportation like bus, lorry, train.etc.But the efficiency of diesel is low and maintainance cost is more and also diesel engines makes more noise compared to petrol engines.
Coming to the another important point SMOKE EMISSION.
We must also think that how far these fuels are environment friendly.smoke emission from the car running on petrol is very less when compared to car running on diesel.This also
makes petrol more efficient that diesel.
Considering all these facts, car running on petrol is more efficient and comfortable than car running on diesel.But fact is that petrol costs much than diesel.
