Hii friends,
Today I want to tell you about PGDAV college of Du.
PGDAV College has one of the most average or below average infrastructure amongst Delhi colleges. The campus isn’t green though it has a huge playing ground where you see many students chilling and relaxing. The classrooms are non air conditioned and so are the libraries. Washrooms are dirty most of the times. There is wifi connectivity in the college but only Comps students can use it. Fortunately, books are available in abundance at the library. The teachers for the language subjects are pretty good. Students like the way the teachers teach and are extremely co-operative. The student-teacher rapport is excellent and that’s the only thing that keeps the mood alive in the college. The professors for Mathematics subject are good, though some are irregular. Some teachers even share their personal number and one can feel free to call any teacher even at odd hour, just if you have doubts. Only a few professors are experienced and well versed with their subject.
PGDAV College is located on the Ring Road of Nehur Nagar in South Delhi. The college is easily accessible by metro trains and DTC buses. The nearest metro station is Lajpat Nagar on the violet/purple line though it’s not at walking distance from the college. Students generally have to take DTC buses or auto rickshaws from metro station to reach the college. DTC buses run with an excellent frequency and drop you right outside the college gate. Connectivity to the college is superb from any part of Delhi.
Agrawal Hotel, G3S mall and KFC are the standard hangouts near the college. Apart from these, one has to travel all the way to Connaught Place ( CP) or Community Centre in New Friends Colony.
As the college is affiliated to Delhi University ( DU) , students are majority from Delhi. The college has two schedules, morning and evening and the crowd is different in both. Morning crowd is pretty nice, good looking people, nice minds and urban thinking. The evening crowd is a bit more village like though you might make good friends here. Ragging isn’t seen on the campus much, though fights during college election is a normal thing. Overall, you can expect to meet an extremely varied crowd and depending on what friends you make, youll love or hate the college.
The college celebrates its Annual day and is a nice cultural meet. Quiz competitions and Talent Hunt are conducted round the academic year.
Thats all
Thanking you.
