This was our first LCD TV and we bought it based on how it looked in the store without any prior research and were sold on the great price. The tv looks sleek has a super clear picture even without HD cables. However the display had too much pink and green tint which drove me nuts. I tried many ways to fix this, but this tv just didn’t have enough options for color adjustment.I could not ever get the picture quite the way I wanted it. Blues and reds looked almost cartoonish. The sound was really bad. It was high pitched with almost no bass at all and some low sounds wouldn’t even come through. It sounded more like cheap computer speakers rather than ones made for a tv. I could turn the volume up and would hear more speaker noise than actual audio. I expected better picture and sound quality from a well known brand like Phillips. We decided to take the tv back and bought a Sony Bravia and are very pleased with our new purchase.
