This DVD Player is not around these days. So, I’m not going to write a long review on this one.
But then, it deserves a review and a good one at that.
I got this DVD Player 5 years ago for about 7500/- and it was worth every penny. I’ve used it so much ever since I purchased it and it has done really well. There were many DVDs(some with some scratches or which were programmed differently) which other DVD players could not play(I have a Toshiba player as well) and this DVD player played them just great - no problems at all. The error correction firmware works really well! It also plays DVDs of all regions.
The 5.1 channel output enables you to plug in a 5.1 speaker system. However, you should also have DVDs that are capable of producing such sound.
All in all, one of the products that I’m completely satisfied it and I’m glad I made a good choice. You can count on Philips!
