I had actually not purchased this but DVP3368 but could not find it anywhere to give a review for it. and I really wanted to comment on it whether someone reads it or not. My nightmare starts 2 years when I purchased it from vijay sales. The price was high compared to the products available but I trusted in Phillips as I had a very old gramophone record player from Phillips which worked great purchased somewhere back in mid 1970’s. also I had a TV from Phillips which worked great for 14 years so I was a loyal customer of phillips. Anyway, within 3 months of purchase there was an issue with the Lens which was replaced within 2 days after I called customer care which was not a good sign for a new product but I was happy at least it was sorted.
The very next month there was an issue with the card again I called up there was a tech at my place and said that he did not have the part available so took the part with him and said that he will callback once he gets it. He did not respond for 1 week and after my numerous calls he finally got the part. He replaced the part and since then the USB feature never worked which I realized last week when I had to open it that there is no place to insert the USB cable as the different part has been changed by the service center which is actually "CHEATING". Since then I had many problems like tray would not open. Sometimes does not read the same movie it was playing a little while ago. Ultimately last week it does not read any movie at all. Now I am looking for other dvd player this time Blu Ray.
My question this time is to someone reading this survey in Phillips "Should I really go again and buy a Phillips dvd player again ??
