Well, if ure a person who loves music loud and with that punch to it, then, you should not settle for anything less that this beauty!!! Actuall, the model that I bought is a Philips FW V 785, but its features are almsot the same as that in V 720.
Firstly, the BASS ....simply AWESOME!!! even at low volumes like 7- 15 you can feel the vibrations of the deep frequencies. At volume 20, this thing simply explodes into a terrific beat machine and churns out some awesome beats!!! The revolutionary wOOX^2 (square) is simply breathtaking and with a three step adjuster, you cant ask for more!!! Infact, the bass is sooooo good that you cant even possibly hear any distortion (if any at all) from this beauty. Hell breaks loose with windows and doors vibrating (literally shaking off from the hinges holdin em) @ max volume of 40.
Secondly, The interface.....ROCKS! A very easy to use well crafted styish exterior with neat steely looks and cross cuts makes this beauty one hell of a mean looking machine!!! The remote control is very well organized and almost all settings can be taken care of by the remote (except eject). You can even get to see the song list on your TVs AV mode.
Thirdly, value for money...woohooooo!!! hell yes this thing gives you the satisfaction of every single rupee u spent on this! The awesome thing that it is, you have MP3, VCD, Audio CD, Tape (dual tape logic deck) and tuner. This is a 3 VCD changer with 3200 Watts ( + 1200 W wOOx ) .....a total paisa wasool !!! Also, this is 100% DVD compatible and u can connect other sound sources throught the AUX input.
Well, disadvantages....i cant think of any ! The remote cud be made a fully functional one....i guess.
Why philips?? well, the are leaders in audio and are coming in into the video segment too. Keep up the good work!!! Give us more of such wonderful products!
