I am a student and lived far from home in hostel near my collage.There I used to boil water, milk and sometimes making tea or even maggie in this kettle and this kettle works fine.It has an automatic system of turning of that is it does not let the water or milk to split up from the kettle and also the milk does not stick in it.It is easy to use and easy to wash and very suitable for a student or a single person usage.Recommend this especially for a student who lived in a hostel.
